It's finally here. The new website for Canyon Sunrise. It is much more inclusive than the old one. There is a list of all the amenities with each cabin as well as detailed directions on getting to Wimberley from all the major cities in Texas. There is also a page where you can order our specialty items straight from our website like our delicious poppy seed bread or relaxing massages. Take a look around and let me know what you think. We stayed in the Sundance cabin to celebrate our 15th anniversay. This was our first time visitng and was dissapointed in the cabin. When we hear the word "luxury", that is what we expect. The decor could have been better in the bathroom. The three plants were half dead, so I watered them. The decor outside was little to be desired. The pool decking needs a good coat of stain as well as around the jacuzzi and the furniture around the pool could at least get a good coat of paint. For driving five hours and spending that kind of money a night, we expected luxury. We will not be staying in this cabin again, nor will we recommend this cabin to a friend or relative.
This is our second time to stay at the Sundance cottage. From the minute you drive into the private drive you are enveloped into rustic Texan decor. The cottage is amazing. We love the serenity here. The old charm is so uplifting. This is a great place to unwind and reconnect. We will definetely be back.
Rodney, we just returned from the Dragonfly. Second time there. This is absolutely the best place we have stayed. Great getaway for any adult couple. I just love the PRIVACY when staying in the cabin. Nothing but solitude and peacefullness. Your idea of providing a non-shared hot tub and swimming pool just cannot be beat. There are no words that can really describe the complete privacy when you stay at Canyon Sunrise.

We stayed at the Mariposa cabin to celebrate our 11 yr Anniversary. Since it wasn't a milestone anniversary this was perfect. With a hectic live of work and kids we needed the solitude. Very cozy. I only have 2 complaints. One, the mattress was very uncomfortable. We sunk in way too much and could feel the springs. The second has nothing to do with the cabin but wiht the reservation service you use for these cabins. Their customer service was so bad that it make me hesitate to return because I dread having to deal with them again. Hopefully you will switch to a service that is more responsive.
